Delivery Excellence at Royal Mail

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across Edinburgh City Delivery Office.

About the Role

As a Postperson with Driving, you will be required to work 30 hours per week, 5 days across Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of working Sundays on a rotational basis during peak times. You will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers, as well as providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and parcels to customers across Edinburgh City Delivery Office
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work 30 hours per week, 5 days across Monday to Saturday, with the possibility of working Sundays on a rotational basis during peak times
  • Be happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
  • Have a strong sense of community and take pride in what you do
  • Have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
