A privately owned business with over 150 years of experience is looking to strengthen its finance function by appointing a new Finance Manager. This well-established company is firmly rooted as a market leader and a brand of choice for their products.

Compensation Package:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive starting salary of £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also offers a bonus scheme, 24 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays, private healthcare, 4% employer pension contribution, catering facilities, free tea/coffee, and free parking on site.

About the Role:

As Finance Manager, you will report to the Head of Finance and work in a friendly finance team. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting, coaching, and mentoring the finance team
  2. Preparing and analyzing financial reports
  3. Managing the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations
  4. Monitoring cash flow and financial risks, providing strategic financial guidance
  5. Working cross-functionally in a business partnering remit, liaising with key internal stakeholders/non-finance staff to support effective decision making
  6. Ongoing development of financial systems, procedures, and controls
Requirements:

To be successful, you will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE with sufficient relevant experience in a leadership/management role. Good commercial acumen and analysis skills are required, along with the ability to provide strategic input to drive performance and business decisions. Additionally, strong systems skills are required, particularly Excel, with ERP implementation/financial modelling experience being desirable.
