Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with SEN.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons and activities, promoting their engagement and well-being.
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
  • Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive school atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in providing 1:1 support to students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting individual student success.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
