As an Area Controller, you will play a crucial role in driving the implementation of our common aquaculture strategy. This exciting opportunity is based in Gloucester, UK, with the possibility of relocation to another location within the UK.

Your key responsibilities will include managing finance operations within the Ocean Ecology Group, serving as the contact point for the external accountant in Iceland, and performing monthly/quarterly reporting processes. You will also be responsible for periodic balance sheet reviews, annual target-setting, and quarterly forecasting processes. Additionally, you will support M&A projects, ensure statutory and other reporting requirements are met, and develop robust business models, pricing models, and cost allocation models.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a bachelor's degree in finance or accountancy, accompanied by 5-8 years of experience in senior financial analysis, accounting, or controller positions. Your expertise in Microsoft Excel, due diligence, integration-related activities, and finance process improvement is essential. Proficiency in PowerPoint and strong written and verbal communication skills are also required. A Chartered Accountant designation and accounting firm experience would be highly advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
