Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Business Support team at Kirklees Council as a Senior Business Support Officer. This is a temporary position with the potential to extend or become permanent.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Business Support team, providing administrative support to our primary schools, and supervising other team members as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our primary schools, including managing office operations and supervising other team members.
- Develop and implement effective administrative systems and processes to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our schools and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to support the growth and development of our schools.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure the effective delivery of services.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a school office or similar administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our schools and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and other administrative software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
