We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at Collins Aerospace. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution: Establish project plans, identify critical path, and manage risks and opportunities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Implement monitoring measures to track project progress, identify and address deviations, and ensure timely closure of past due orders.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Provide regular performance metrics on project delivery, including On-Time Delivery (OTD) and First Pass Yield (FPY), to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the technical team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action: Lead the investigation of issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations or material planning.
- Project Management Skills: Proven experience in project planning, execution, and control, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with experience in using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
