About the Role

Nurse Seekers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our excellent Nursery in Ruislip. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early years education and care to young children, promoting their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Plan and provide effective teaching and learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  • Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children, adhering to our nursery policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the individual needs of children are met.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's development, including assessments and progress reports.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures, ensuring they align with the EYFS statutory framework.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant childcare qualification, such as a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
  • Have a paediatric first aid certificate and basic safeguarding training.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of child development and the EYFS statutory framework.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
