We are actively seeking passionate and motivated Tenancy Support Workers to join our team, supporting young people experiencing difficulties with their tenancies in the Cwmbran area.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you will be responsible for providing advice, support, motivation, crisis intervention, and future planning to ensure that every client goes on to live independently.
Job Overview:
- Job Title: Tenancy Support Worker
- Location: Cwmbran
- Hours: Full-time Temporary hours available (37.5 hours per week)
- Estimated Salary: £12,820 - £14,000 per year inclusive of holiday pay
About the Role:
You will be required to undertake assessments and casework with clients seeking support or resettlement by developing positive working relationships to facilitate the best possible outcomes and address issues of social isolation and exclusion.
Experience as a tenancy support worker and knowledge of current welfare and housing benefits are an advantage as you will assist clients with their finances and grant claims, liaising with appropriate agencies when necessary.
A key requirement for this role is the ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle due to the nature of the support.
