Highly Specialist Physiotherapist: Paediatric Neurosciences Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic paediatric physiotherapist to fill this highly specialist role. The successful candidate will work predominantly with children who have neurological and oncology conditions, with a particular focus on those with neuromuscular conditions, including Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy and Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
Main Responsibilities- Work closely with other therapists in the Children's Hospital and the wider multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
- Support band 5 and band 6 physiotherapists with teaching and training, as well as managing a complex caseload.
- Collaborate with the Neuro Physiotherapy Clinical Specialist and Band 7 peers within the neurosciences team to ensure adherence to national guidelines and best therapy practice.
- Work flexibly across seven days to support weekends, Bank Holidays, and out-of-hours respiratory rosters.

Requirements- Extensive experience of working within a specialist area.
- Knowledge of current best practice within a clinical specialty.
- Diploma or degree in a relevant qualification.
- Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) registration.
- Recognised post-graduate training relevant to specialty, preferably including MSc or completed modules.
