Job Title: Digital Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Digital Test Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our Electrical and Electronic (EE) team, you will be responsible for validating vehicle functions, performance, reliability, and regulations for infotainment, displays, and parking systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, including change/variance impact analysis and resource management.
  • Investigate concerns, perform root cause analysis, and recommend countermeasures to design, aftermarket, and manufacturing departments.
  • Ensure the quality of electrical systems meets client standards.
  • Work closely with the test team to complete validation within project milestones.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of electrical theory and electronic device operation.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English.
  • Experience with software applications in vehicle ECUs, including flashing, coding/configuration, and calibration.
  • Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans.
  • Familiar with network communications and multiple bus principles (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Proficient in CANalyzer, CANape software, or similar tools, with the ability to interpret results.
  • Relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development, having completed at least two vehicle developments or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel abroad, typically for a few days to 2 weeks, with occasional long-distance travel for up to 10 weeks at short notice.
Working Hours and Pay:

Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
