About the Role

As a Specialist Education Support Worker, you will be working within a Specialist Further Education College setting, supporting students aged 16+ who have learning or communication difficulties. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young adults with learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist students within classroom settings and support their access to community-based activities.

Support students in developing life skills and provide assistance with personal care when needed.

Help create a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Work alongside students to promote their independence and comfort, ensuring their needs are met through tailored care plans.

Facilitate active participation in both college and community activities.

Requirements

Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Worker is desirable.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Experience within an educational setting is advantageous.
