At Babcock, we're committed to creating a safe and secure world, together. As a Qualified Flying Instructor at our Yeovilton site, you'll play a critical role in providing flying training using Grob E aircraft in a fast-paced, challenging, and real-life operational setting.
The Role
As a Qualified Flying Instructor, you'll support dedicated students on a 31-hour flying syllabus that caters to elements such as navigation, aerobatics, and more. You'll attend briefings to identify weather conditions for the day and join preparation briefings before flying sessions with your students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all related support activities and services are provided under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and Flight Commander
This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, and based on-site at Yeovilton.
Essential Experience
Flying instructional experience is essential for this role.
Qualifications
UK or JAA CPL(A) SEP, IR, and FI (unrestricted) rating, including a Class 1 medical, are required.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
