General Manager - Metrology Division

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead the Metrology Division of a prestigious global engineering business. As a key member of the Senior Management team, you will contribute to strategic decisions and drive the division's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Senior Management meetings to shape the company's strategic direction.
  • Manage key relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure a close working partnership.
  • Oversee the management of key suppliers and ensure technical expertise is available for project consultation.
  • Lead the division towards meeting the company's growth targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Strategically manage and develop the business units within the Metrology Division.

Requirements:

  • A commercial and technical background, preferably within the metrology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, departments, and budgets effectively.
  • Good commercial awareness and sales, key account management, and general business management skills.
  • Experience managing small, specialized teams within engineering or inspection.
  • A minimum of HNC qualification or equivalent, or proven experience in a similar managerial role.
