Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide targeted support and provision to students addressing a designated category of special educational needs and disabilities, as directed by the Assistant Headteacher Inclusion (SENDCo).
  2. Support teachers in delivering in-class support plans for students in the Additional Needs Faculty.
  3. Meet with teachers and Additional Needs Faculty staff to review support provision, discuss updates in the curriculum, and consider individual pupil progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young adults or children with SEN.
  • Patience, positive attitude, and ability to celebrate diversity.
  • Ability to establish supportive relationships with students and promote acceptance and inclusion.
