Job Title: Logistics Director

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the management and improvement of the supply chain function at our Coleraine site.

This is a permanent and full-time position, based in a strategic location that offers excellent opportunities for career growth within one of the world's leading food manufacturers.

About the Role

The role has ultimate responsibility for ensuring the delivery of value-added services to the business, managing various aspects of supply chain activities, and driving process improvements to best practice.

  • Develop and integrate all recommended planning processes to the standardised expected Way of Working (WOW)
  • Manage the end-to-end inventory management and stock control, ensuring adequate cost control and alignment with budget targets
  • Lead a team of 4 direct reports in a day-day context and from an employee development viewpoint, driving productivity actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare monthly/weekly reporting packs with relevant metrics and KPIs, highlighting areas for improvement and potential cost savings
  • Collaborate with functional leads to ensure improved communication and effective implementation of strategies
Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant business experience

- Previous experience in an equivalent position, preferably in a similar industry

- Excellent leadership and management skills, with a focus on achieving key operational targets and driving results

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement

- Good knowledge of ERP systems and ability to develop internal S&OP processes

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
