Job Description

The Pediatric Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on our Ward and Outpatients team. This will involve participating in all aspects of the child's care, from pre-assessment to discharge, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient journeys. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong focus on patient safety and dignity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an RSCN, possess Paediatric Basic Life Support certification, and have knowledge of child protection issues. A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, flexibility, and a positive attitude are also essential qualities for this position. While not essential, previous experience in clinical supervision, EPLS, and Level 3 Paediatric Safeguarding would be highly desirable.
