Digital Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our Emerging & Scaled business team (E&S) at Spotify. The E&S team focuses on serving mid and small sized businesses with our advertising solutions, helping them reach their audience and achieve their marketing goals on the Spotify platform.
As a sales leader for the E&S business, you will play a pivotal role in developing and expanding our presence across Northern Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, development, and setting revenue quotas and critical metrics to ensure team success
- Develop and implement measurement strategies based on key performance indicators to drive success and demonstrate the value of our advertising solutions
- Determine individual quotas and account lists for your team members, collaborating with sales operations, optimizing resource allocation
- Develop strategic insights, find opportunities, and provide structured performance reporting within your market or market vertical
- Conduct independent market analysis to identify, prioritize, and secure business opportunities based on the dynamics and customer strategies specific to E&S
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
You have 10+ years of experience in the digital media space in Northern Europe, 5+ years in managing a team in the Northern Europe.
You have extensive knowledge of performance marketing, including industry trends, measurement, attribution, and competitive product knowledge.
You have deep knowledge of digital advertising buying and ad tech platforms.
You have competency in hiring, team building, and mentorship.
This role requires some in-person meetings, but also allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come into the London office 3 times per week.
