We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Social Workers to join our team in Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. As a Social Worker in our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need, providing short-term and long-term assistance to ensure their well-being and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and respond to concerns regarding child or young person's safety or wellbeing
- Work with families to understand their needs and develop support plans
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure effective service delivery
- Provide regular supervision and support to children and families
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Relevant social work qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- Completed ASYE year (or equivalent)
- Compassion and understanding of children and family needs
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, guidance, and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Career progression salary from £35,745 to £44,428
- Annual retention payment of £3,000
- Relocation support of up to £8,000
