Job Title: Backend Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at GTS Group Ltd. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing our customer's back-end systems and data management architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design & Development: Design the back-end infrastructure and data management architecture that supports our charging systems.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to capture UI requirements and optimize logistic fleet charging performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure the system architecture complies with UK and International standards through verification, testing, and certification.
  • Data Management: Design database architecture in line with best practices for data handling and storage.
  • Validation & Testing: Develop test plans and oversee the validation process through to product approval.
  • Project Management: Lead projects from concept to delivery, ensuring milestones are met.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Programming Proficiency: Expert in .Net, C#, Web API, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, JSON, React, Node.js, SQL Server, and VS Code.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Membership in a professional society is a plus.
  • Experience: Experience working in an SME is highly desirable. Familiarity with low-carbon energy technologies and data services is a bonus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements:

Please note that this role requires you to work onsite in SE Birmingham 2 days a week and already possess the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
