Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Hygiene Technician to join our team at Calibre Search. As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring water hygiene standards are maintained at an excellent level across various sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of colleagues, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out job-related tasks.
  • Professional Image: Portray a professional image to clients at all times.
  • Company Policy: Adhere to all company policies and processes.
  • Documentation: Complete all documentation and registers prior to signing in on arrival at site.
  • Site Visits: Carry out 6-monthly review of sites, conduct site-specific Legionella risk assessment review reports, inspect cold water storage tanks, and sample CWSTs, cold outlets, and hot water systems.
  • Cleaning and Chlorination: Clean and chlorinate cold water storage tanks and their associated down systems, ensuring tasks are completed outside normal store trading hours to minimize risk.
  • Reporting: Ensure correct paperwork is completed during site visits, report any non-compliance with water regulations, and update line management on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Water Sampling: Skilled in water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • Descaling and TMV Servicing: Experienced in descaling shower heads and hoses, and TMV servicing.
  • Tank Cleans and Inspections: Knowledgeable in tank cleans and inspections, including endoscopic inspection of calorifiers.
  • Mains Injection Pipework Chlorination Works: Skilled in mains injection pipework chlorination works.
