Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Brammer Buck & Hickman. As a key member of our sales support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our external technical engineering and sales teams, as well as our customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support: Provide timely and effective support to customers via various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Order Management: Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and completion, ensuring seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Supplier Management: Source products and pricing from external suppliers, negotiating the best deals to meet customer needs.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with our logistics team to ensure efficient handling of goods in and out of our stores, including stock replenishment and management.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell value-added products and services.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively address customer complaints and issues, providing solutions and alternatives to meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and basic cutting tool knowledge (desirable).
  • Personal Qualities: A solution-based approach, high attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
