About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join our Michelin Connected Fleet embedded products development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, certification, and production phases of electronic enclosures, peripherals, and derivative product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the management of electronic design projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Define and design the hardware and functional architecture of electronic boards, collaborating with software development engineers to ensure electronic choices align with project expectations.
  • Manage subcontractors for development and deployment, ensuring seamless integration and quality control.
Requirements
  • Graduated with an electronics engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in electronic debugging with oscilloscope and logic analyzer.
  • Knowledge of electronic CAD systems and component technologies (Electronic CAD (Orcad or Altium), CAN, RS232, SPI, I2C, GNSS, LTE, Mixed Analogue/Digital designs, RF layout).
  • Ability to work in a team and share electronic expertise, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Good ability to analyze risks and failure modes, such as FMEA.
  • Ability to work in an international environment across geographies and languages.
