The Role

We are seeking a Children's Nurse with post-registration experience to join our in-house care team. As a Children's Nurse, you will work as part of a supportive team consisting of Nurses, Nurse Associates, care support workers, and allied health professionals. Your role will involve providing a high standard of holistic care, balancing opportunities for children to experience play, social interaction, and learning alongside managing the diverse nursing needs of the children staying with us.

Main Duties

As a Children's Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality, evidence-based paediatric palliative care
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to deliver a holistic model of care
  • Managing the diverse nursing needs of children staying with us
  • Planning and prioritizing care for children
  • Communicating effectively with children, families, and colleagues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMC registration as a Children's Nurse
  • 2 years post-registration experience with demonstrated experience of delivering a wide range of clinical skills
  • Experience of working within a professional, multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively across the care services
