Job Description:

We are a leading education recruitment agency, Education Supply Pool, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our clients in primary schools across Newport and its surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Support students with varying abilities and needs
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 months experience in a UK primary or secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude
  • Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families
  • Enhanced DBS check and 2 satisfactory references
