Job Title: HGV Technician - Mobile Fleet Specialist

Job Summary: Elise Search is recruiting for a skilled HGV technician to work on a permanent night shift basis in the Hertfordshire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing customer fleets of HGVs and trailers, working from a company van and managing the supply of parts stocked in the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair customer fleets of HGVs and trailers.
  • Build strong relationships with customers while attending their sites regularly, delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Complete pre-loaded jobs on a mobile tablet each day, mostly scheduled work across regular customers.
  • Manage the supply of parts stocked in the van, ordering replacement stock through the company's system as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified HGV technician or mechanic with NVQ level 3, IMI apprenticeship, City and Guilds level 2, or equivalent qualifications or experience.
  • Good experience of working as a mobile HGV technician, with a strong understanding of HGV maintenance and repair.

Working Hours: Permanent night shift for 5 nights per week, with the opportunity to work additional nights at double time.

Salary: Basic salary between £57.5-60k depending on experience and qualifications, with the potential to earn up to £80-82k per annum.
