Veterinary Support Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Receptionist/ Administrator to join our team at Winchester Companion Care. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service and supporting our veterinary team.
This role offers a unique blend of administrative and customer-facing responsibilities, with a focus on ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and providing an outstanding experience for our clients.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing appointments, handling client inquiries, processing payments, maintaining accurate records, and performing various administrative tasks. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage appointments, including scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling
- Handle client inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Process payments, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely billing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both electronic and paper-based
- Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and other duties as assigned
About You
We are looking for a talented and dedicated individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a strong team player, you will be able to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and veterinarians alike.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing or administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
