Mbm Executive Travel Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Director to lead our digital transformation and drive growth in the travel industry.

As Ecommerce Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing e-commerce strategies to optimize customer experience, traffic growth, and conversion rates. You will oversee SEO, PPC, social media, and data-driven campaigns to enhance customer engagement and improve retention.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading e-commerce in a high-growth environment, ideally in travel or leisure. They will possess strong expertise in digital marketing, data analysis, and customer journey optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive traffic growth, conversion optimisation, and retention.
• Oversee SEO, PPC, social media, and data-driven campaigns to enhance customer engagement.
• Drive improvements across B2C and B2B platforms, focusing on UX and mobile optimisation.
• Manage, mentor, and build a high-performing e-commerce team.
• Leverage analytics to inform strategy and measure performance.
• Align e-commerce with sales, marketing, and tech teams.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading e-commerce in a high-growth environment, ideally in travel or leisure.
• Strong expertise in digital marketing, data analysis, and customer journey optimisation.
• Skilled in managing e-commerce projects, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in tools like Google Analytics/GA4, Power BI, and project management frameworks (Agile, PRINCE2).
• Entrepreneurial, customer-focused, and solutions-driven with excellent communication skills.
