Job Summary:

The Membership Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and analysis of the sales strategy to drive sustainable membership growth. The role requires a proven track record in business development, sales or relationship management, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key decision makers.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve long-term, sustainable growth.
  • Build and nurture a robust pipeline of potential members through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Secure large membership subscriptions by cultivating strong relationships with key decision makers and successfully negotiating agreements.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events to generate new leads and promote the benefits of membership.
  • Meet new members to understand their needs and highlight the benefits of joining.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a business development, sales or relationship management role.
  • Exceptional inter-personal skills, with strong relationship building and networking capabilities.
  • Experience using CRM software and other sales tools to build and maintain new business pipelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
