Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (DAYS)

Location: Northampton

Salary and Benefits: Competitive Salary + Overtime Paid at 1.5X + Call out Rota 1 week in 4 (£15 per day standby, 3 hours minimum paid at overtime rate for each call out) + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + Life Assurance 3x Annual Salary + Training and Development Opportunities including external courses and electrical training

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

About the Role:

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for a continuously growing manufacturer who invests in their site and facilities.

  1. Carrying out mechanical repairs across production.
  2. Split between reactive and PPM maintenance 25/75.
  3. Some project work, including installation and upgrade projects.

Qualifications:

The Successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be:

  1. Mechanically biased, with a background in manufacturing, production, industrial maintenance, or equivalent.
  2. Ideally have experience of working in high volume manufacturing, but those from other industrial environments will be considered.
  3. A qualified mechanical engineer.
  4. Any fabrication or welding experience will be advantageous.
  5. Any electrical experience or qualifications will be advantageous, although training can be provided, including external courses.
