Job Description: Longevity and Reinsurance Actuary

At Signet Resources, we are seeking an experienced Longevity and Reinsurance Actuary to lead our team in providing innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement long-term care and reinsurance strategies to manage risk and optimize returns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build and maintain relationships with reinsurers and negotiate reinsurance terms.
  • Conduct research and analysis on longevity trends and their impact on our clients' business.
  • Design and administer capital-efficient solutions for pension schemes, effectively managing risk for our clients.
  • Oversee the operation of reinsurance treaties, including collateral arrangements as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Actuary with experience in capital modeling, profit testing, and mortality analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of UK-defined benefit pensions and reinsurance structures.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical issues to senior stakeholders.
