Director of Clinical Services

Spire Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Clinical Services to provide overall leadership and management to all clinical service areas within our hospital.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art private hospital, providing personalized healthcare with fast access to consultations in a wide range of specialties. As a Director of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for promoting a cost-effective, patient-focused quality service for the continuing success of Spire Healthcare.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical quality background, knowledge of the CQC process, and a minimum of 5 years management and leadership experience in a hospital environment. You will also have risk management, governance, and patient safety and quality experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and maintain clinical practice and standards within governance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Provide overall clinical leadership and operational management to all areas of the clinical service areas.
  • Promote a cost-effective, patient-focused quality service for the continuing success of Spire Healthcare.
  • Lead and implement the hospital's clinical strategy and provide support and input to the hospital's overall business strategy.
  • Deputise for the Hospital Managing Director in their absence.
  • Act as the Director of Infection Prevention and Control for the Hospital.
