About the RoleThe successful candidate will serve as a co-pilot for our organization's financial performance, providing valuable insights to drive informed decision-making. You will be responsible for meticulous planning, analysis, and compliance with finance processes, while also contributing to our overall success.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the Finance Business Partner for Telecom satellite production projects, working in unison with project managers to ensure clear communication of the EAC baseline and close monitoring of actual costs against the plan.
- Ensure all deliverables are met with regard to monthly reporting to Primes and accurate and timely reporting to local Work Package Managers and Project Managers, including forecasting of project resourcing/manpower requirements by work package.
- Review all financially relevant contractual matters, including Supply Contracts, Works Orders, or Change Notices.
- Maintain awareness of Risks and Opportunities on projects and actively support Risk Mitigation and Opportunity Attainment to allow consolidation of Risks and Opportunities at business unit level.
- Produce monthly financial reporting on project Key Performance Indicators comparing Actuals against Budget and Forecast.
- Closely monitor project cash and work in progress.
- Previous financial experience working in a project-based environment is essential.
- Knowledge of SAP would be highly beneficial.
- Experience working within a large organization is required.
