Job Title: Site Engineer

Danny Sullivan Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their team on UKPN substation projects across the South East of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting and surveying out on-site using various methods (GPS, EDM, Total Station, etc.) for utilities
  • Managing utilities exclusion zones
  • Providing watching brief supervision for high-risk activities adjacent to utilities
  • Planning utilities protection works
  • Providing handover information onsite for as-built and existing utilities to site operatives and supervisors
  • Working as part of a team and assisting team members as needed
  • Completing daily diaries of works being undertaken on-site with accurate and comprehensive details
  • Completing check sheets for quality standards in accordance with ITPs
  • Assisting or undertaking safety inspections and workplace inspections
  • Raising and issuing permits as required
  • Undertaking CAT and Genny surveys prior to excavation works commencing
  • Attending site meetings in relation to program, safety, and working areas
  • Excellent communication skills with team, subcontractors, general public, and client
  • Ability to undertake site survey and produce sketches of survey work and construction sequences
Requirements:
  • CSCS card relevant to appointment
  • Degree or relevant qualification/experience
  • CAT and Genny trained (mandatory)
  • GS6 Training (desirable)
  • 1st Aid (optional)
