Job Title: Full Time Security Officer

Job Summary:

Vigilant Security is seeking a professional and observant Security Officer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Security Officer, you will provide a responsive and vigilant security presence, performing a variety of duties including reception, customer-facing, patrolling, and site inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a professional security presence, responding to incidents and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets.
  2. Perform reception duties, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
  3. Conduct site inspections to identify potential security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
  4. Patrol the site to deter and detect unauthorized access or activity.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve security objectives and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA licence.
  2. Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history.
  3. Excellent communication and administration skills.
  4. Reliable with excellent time-management skills.
  5. Smart, well-groomed, and confident.
  6. Conflict management aware.
  7. High level of Customer Care Awareness.
  8. Security systems knowledge.
  9. Telephone/switchboard skills.
  10. First Aid training would be an advantage.
  11. IT literacy would be an advantage.
