About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Working closely with our customers, you will develop effective solutions to address their security needs. With a clear and defined pathway to achieve chartership, NCSC certification, and greater responsibility, this position presents opportunities for professional growth and development. As an IT Auditor Leader, you will identify, measure, and analyse risks attracted by digital systems and information assets. You will also assist in defining appropriate and proportionate security solutions spanning people, process, and technology.

About You:
We seek a skilled IT Auditor Leader with extensive experience in Cyber Risk Management or Auditing in a Defence and/or public sector context. You should possess an expert understanding of security maturity and detailed knowledge of a security maturity framework such as NIST CSF and its Implementation Tiers, C2M2, and NCSC CAF. Additionally, you should be certified by a well-known standards body in the provision of audits such as ISACA. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to write technical reports and facilitate Audit Workshops to clients prepare for audit. A good understanding of TCP/IP-based networking concepts and common protocols in use and their risks is also required.

Salary: £90,000 - £105,000 per annum

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least one of the following qualifications: CCP IA/Auditor Senior, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO27K Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer
- UK SC Clearance or the ability to obtain it, as well as other more in-depth security clearances
- Expert understanding of security compliance and detailed knowledge of a control framework such as NIST SP800-53 and ISO270002, IEC62443
- Certified by a well-known standards body in the provision of audits such as ISACA
- Extensive experience in the development and mentoring of junior team members
- Ambitious and creative drive to help safeguard UK national infrastructure and become a recognised cyber expert
- Ability to write technical reports that analyse and interpret audit results
- Leading and facilitating Audit Workshops to clients prepare for audit
- Good understanding of TCP/IP-based networking concepts across the OSI model layer as well as common protocols in use and their risks
