Camp Manager - Ultimate Activity Camps

Are you a motivated and experienced professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the holiday camp industry? We are seeking a Camp Manager to join our team at Ultimate Activity Camps.

The Camp Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of our multi-activity holiday childcare programmes, ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp is maintained at all times. You will be responsible for managing, motivating and supporting your staff team to create fun and exciting holiday camps that promote participation, structure, care and development.

The position of the Camp Manager is a busy but hugely rewarding and varied role, where the experience of parents and children rests on your shoulders. You will be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to, including health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

As a Camp Manager, you will be required to lead by example with energy and enthusiasm, inspiring your staff to deliver quality activities. You will also be responsible for liaising with parents, school representatives and Head Office, as well as managing administrative duties on camp.

We are looking for someone with a natural leadership style, excellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of camp activities. You must be able to adapt to situations when required and be proactive and conscientious in your approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of staff to deliver high-quality holiday camps
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of children on camp is maintained at all times
  • Liaise with parents, school representatives and Head Office
  • Manage administrative duties on camp, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, registration and staff rotas
  • Lead by example with energy and enthusiasm, inspiring staff to deliver quality activities
  • Adapt to situations when required and be proactive and conscientious in your approach

Requirements:

  • Qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare, teaching or coaching, with significant experience of working with children
  • Natural leadership style and excellent communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of camp activities
  • Ability to adapt to situations when required and be proactive and conscientious in your approach
