Job Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a key member of the hotel's operations team, responsible for ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas. As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Sloane, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Run sold room reports, verify room status, address discrepancies, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
  • Assist housekeeping management in overseeing daily activities.
  • Coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
  • Document and resolve discrepancies with the Front Desk, and manage room assignment changes.
  • Communicate issues to the next shift and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a Team Leader or Housekeeping Supervisory role within a 5-star property is highly advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Guestline or the implementation of a property management system is valued but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
