Derbyshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Facilities Coordinator to join our premises team.

We are committed to providing an excellent level of support, and this role will play a crucial part in achieving that goal. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Premises Manager and other team members to maintain our school's facilities.

The ideal candidate will possess basic plumbing, decorating, and grounds work skills or be willing to undergo training to acquire them. A flexible outlook and ability to respond to changing priorities will also be essential.

The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for working as part of a close-knit team, including two Site Supervisors and our cleaning staff. This role requires someone who is proactive, diligent, and able to work independently when needed.

This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our school's facilities, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and well-maintained for students and staff.

In return, Derbyshire County Council offers a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
