Job Title: Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is keen to progress their career within software engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to the enhancement and evolution of our transport management applications.

The ideal candidate will be a current graduate with a strong passion for software development, eager to learn, and excited about forging a long-standing career with Microlise. They will possess a first or upper second-class honours degree in computer science or any numerate subject, along with programming skills in languages such as C#, C++, or Java. Additionally, they should have knowledge of basic object-oriented concepts and SQL.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to interpret and relay technical information clearly and concisely. They will also possess a positive attitude, capable of working under pressure as part of a team, and confident in using their own initiative to think outside the box. An investigative mindset that approaches issues from all angles will also be beneficial, particularly for identifying workarounds for ongoing incidents.

As a valued member of our team, you can expect full support and training to ensure your success in this role. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private medical insurance, 25 days' holiday, and employee assistance programmes.
