Catch22 College Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Catch22 College. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teachers to provide support to students and help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in the classroom, providing one-to-one support to students as needed.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional learning.
  • Support the development of lesson plans and resources, ensuring they are engaging and relevant to students.
  • Provide feedback to students on their progress, helping them to set goals and improve their work.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work at a minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths.
  • Desirable: A relevant professional TA qualification (NVQ level 2), HTLA qualification, A level English and Maths, Level 2 Teaching Qualification (PTTLS or equivalent).
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £20,555.01 - £21,891.98 pro rata (£23,000 - £24,496 FTE per annum).
  • 37 hours per week, with a permanent contract and term-time only arrangement (41 weeks).
