Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Dispenser to support the supply of Cannabis-Based Products for Medical Use (CBPM) in a specialist private pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will work alongside specialist Clinical Pharmacists to make CBPM more accessible for all patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and validating prescriptions ready for a clinical check.
  • Processing patient information appropriately.
  • Supporting the Responsible Pharmacist and Technicians in the daily operations of the pharmacy.
  • Being the first point of contact for any queries to the pharmacy.
  • Maintaining relevant records for the supply of CBPM.
  • Maintaining stock and security of any CBPM on site.
  • Maintaining communication of prescriptions to the Department of Health to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting governance in the pharmacy to ensure the pharmacy is operating as safely as possible.
Requirements
  • A UK qualified Pharmacy Dispenser.
  • Ideal experience in working in the pharmacy dispensary, either primary and/or secondary environment.
  • High levels of attention to detail, able to work accurately, identifying errors quickly and easily.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Professional, ethical, and committed to providing excellent customer care.
  • Excellent computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
