We are seeking an experienced Ergonomics Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh, with regular travel required to our Newcastle site.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and improving the working environment to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting DSE assessments and providing recommendations for improvement
- Collaborating with employees and management to identify and resolve ergonomics issues
- Maintaining accurate records of assessments and progress
- Providing training and guidance on ergonomics best practices
- Developing and implementing ergonomic solutions to improve workplace health and safety
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering DSE assessments and improvements within a HSE function, as well as formal ergonomic qualification or equivalent experience.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in ergonomics, including DSE assessment and improvement
- Formal ergonomic qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
