Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident SEN teaching assistant to join our team in Chepstow. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social and emotional well-being
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Requirements
- Proven experience in SEN teaching or support, with a focus on SEMH and pastoral care
- Comprehensive knowledge of support and intervention programmes for SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
