Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Behavioral Health Technician/Driver to join our FACE to FACE Partial Hospital Day Program team. As a key member of our clinical and administrative staff, you will provide leadership and policy reinforcement assistance while working closely with our Director of Behavioral Health Technician Team and Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor.

About the Role:

This full-time position offers a unique blend of clinical and administrative responsibilities. You will be responsible for mentoring and training new behavioral technician staff, assisting with route planning, and ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation services for our consumers. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with both colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and train new behavioral technician staff to ensure seamless integration into our team
  • Assist with designing and implementing efficient routes for consumer transportation, taking into account traffic patterns, client locations, and scheduling requirements
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and timely restocking of site supplies
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and behavioral health technicians, facilitating open communication and collaboration
  • Transport consumers to and from the facility, adhering to safety protocols and best practices
  • Co-facilitate group therapy sessions with licensed clinicians, promoting a supportive environment for our clients
  • Engage daily with clients, assisting them in achieving milieu goals and fostering a positive atmosphere
  • Respond effectively to crisis situations, employing CPI-approved physical intervention if necessary and CPR if required
  • Participate in meal and snack times with clients, ensuring their needs are met and promoting social interaction
  • Rotate through milieu and monitoring schedules, providing coverage until under supervision of parent or legal guardian
  • Perform light daily tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment, replenishing supplies as needed
  • Document all interactions and activities in accordance with clinic policies and procedures
  • Communicate regularly with FACE to FACE staff regarding clinical and administrative matters
  • Provide support to various NOFC locations as instructed by Behavioral Health Technician leadership
  • Fulfill ongoing training requirements, staying up-to-date on industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling preferred; high school graduate or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of mental health experience, with 1 year of NOFC experience preferred
  • Current Michigan Chauffeur's license and approved driving record required
  • Ability to work well with diverse populations, including children, and adapt to changing situations and environments

What We Offer:
