About the Role

We are seeking motivated and personable Catering Assistants to join our dedicated team at The McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead and/or The Horder Centre in Crowborough. This is a bank/zero-hours contract, providing essential support to our valued patients and employees.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the catering team in preparing and serving food and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment in accordance with all relevant regulations.
  • Ensure daily equipment checks are conducted and promptly report any faulty equipment or fixtures.
  • Offer support to the patient service team and contribute to the smooth operation of both catering production and service teams.

About You

  • You are a strong team player with excellent communication skills, fostering positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • You are proactive, forward-thinking, and passionate about continuous learning.
  • Your work ethic aligns with our core values: Caring, Friendly, Quality, Integrity, and Pride.
  • A Level 2 Food Safety certification is desirable but not essential.
