Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Probe UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and assisting in the development and engineering projects at our site, providing second-line support to the Engineering team, and identifying opportunities for improvements and making recommendations to enhance machine and process effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and assist in development and engineering projects at the site
  • Provide second-line support to the Engineering team
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and make recommendations to enhance machine and process effectiveness
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering team to achieve project goals

Requirements:

  • Timed-served engineer with an electrical bias
  • Good working knowledge of PLC and servo control systems
  • Understanding and ability to work with Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  • Good computer skills, including CAD systems, ideally Auto-Cad
  • Experience in installing and commissioning new equipment

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary with the option of contractual overtime

  • Company sick pay after one year's service, increasing with length of service to a maximum of 24 weeks
