Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter. As a key member of our back of house team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including the pass and storage areas.
  • Collect and wash up pots, pans, plates, and cutlery, and return them to their designated places.
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean and ready for use.
  • Unload food and equipment deliveries and maintain a well-organized storage area.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify the Head Chef when orders need to be placed.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, including work surfaces, walls, and floors.
