Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist Clinical Lead to join our dynamic team at Kingston Hospital. As a leading provider of healthcare services in South West London, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of respiratory services, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients with complex respiratory conditions.
  • Provide expert physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients on the inpatient wards, including ICU and Paediatrics.
  • Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists, promoting professional development and excellence in practice.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and driving change to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Band 7 or above experience in respiratory services, with expertise in tracheostomy management and staff supervision.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent clinical governance knowledge and experience, with a commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.
  • A passion for research and service development, with experience in presenting to multidisciplinary teams and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
