Job Title: Head of Quality Assurance

CTI Digital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality Assurance to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving quality initiatives, developing and maintaining testing processes and tools, and promoting a culture of excellence within the QA team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement testing processes and standards that adhere to best practices and accommodate the practicalities of agency work and individual project constraints/requirements
  • Manage the QA team, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to help the team grow and develop their skills with identified training opportunities
  • Contribute to overall processes and initiatives as a member of the Technical Leadership Team, to include testing as a holistic part of the development lifecycle
  • Drive the use of software tools (automated testing, cross-browser emulation, screenshot comparison, etc.) within the Technical Leadership Team to maximise efficiency and reduce regression-related issues
  • Work closely with our wider teams, including project management and client services, to help manage the day-to-day delivery of work
  • Assist in reviewing project/sales estimations from a QA perspective, recommending suitable testing approaches based on the context/budget and estimating time required
  • Communicate with clients as necessary to agree to approaches, provide progress updates or handle escalations
Requirements:
  • 2+ years in a Head of QA role or similar managerial position
  • 5+ years in QA
  • Agency experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in testing a minimum of one of the following: Magento, Drupal, Umbraco
  • Beneficial: Experience with automated testing tools, experience managing/working with distributed teams (including offshore members)
