Job Description

Senior Test Engineer - Bolton - £50,000 per annum.

In this key role, you will provide critical support to the manufacturing engineering team by developing and implementing effective test strategies for PCBA's, sub-assemblies, modules, and final assemblies. Your expertise in designing and producing test solutions will ensure the high-quality production of complex electronic devices.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Creating comprehensive test plans and specifications for new products, modules, and assemblies;
  • Designing and building custom test fixtures and equipment to meet the specific needs of our products;
  • Collaborating with the design engineering team to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and testability;
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing test equipment to ensure it remains effective and efficient;
  • Providing expert technical support to diagnose and resolve issues with test equipment and systems;
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize manufacturing workflows;
